Helicopter Stunts

Helicopter stunt flying and coordination

Helicopter Stunts

Complex helicopter stunts demand a helicopter stunt pilot who can deliver precision and repeatability with safety as the first principle. Specialist Helicopters performs vehicle chases, performer lifts and low-level pursuit, and owns the only CASA-approved helicopter stunt platform (TSOP) in Australia — coordinated closely with stunt and SFX teams.

More Than The Stunt

A stunt is the plan and the permits as much as the pilot. We coordinate every aviation party and can source the rest of the aerial production around it.

The way he manoeuvred the helicopter on our shoot, myself and many others on set had never seen anything like it. He flew with incredible precision, skill and sheer expertise, and gave more to our film than I thought possible.
